Robert E. Sowell, Jr.

Mr. Robert E. "Rob" Sowell, Jr., age 46, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at home in Winter Haven. Mr. Sowell was born on March 25, 1964 in Bartow. He formerly worked for Rapid Survey in Lakeland. Mr. Sowell attended Heartland Church and Village Church of God in Winter Haven. He is survived by two sons; Robert Tanner Sowell, Hunter Clay Sowell, mother Frances Boyles of Winter Haven, father Robert E. Sowell, Sr. and wife Tricia of Christianburg, VA, brother Tim Sowell and wife Emily of Mulberry, two step brothers; James Young also of Christianburg, Ronald Young and wife Nancy of Marietta, GA, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where the family will receive friends Saturday, December 11th from 2pm to 3pm. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
