Robert Allen Scheff

Robert Allen Scheff died Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Bartow. He was 83. Born January 6, 1924 in Nevada, Ohio, Mr. Scheff was a farmer. He was also an Army Veteran of WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Scheff was a longtime member of Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow. He was formerly a Board Member of the Church Service Center and a two time Medalist in the Polk Senior Olympics. Mr. Scheff is preceded in death by his wife, Opal B. Scheff. He is survived by his caregiver, Shawn Warnock of Bartow. He also leaves behind a brother, Glenn Scheff of Nevada, OH, and a sister, Fern Holcraft of Upper Sandusky, OH. Services for Mr. Scheff will be Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the Main Street Baptist Church, 1140 East Main Street in Bartow.
