Robert Pugh

Robert Pugh, age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Rohr Home in Bartow. Born December 26, 1924 in Konorack, Virginia, he was the son of the late Victor and Mattie (Adams) Pugh. Mr. Pugh was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in WWII. He was also a longtime factory worker for Elkton Cork in Elkton, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Pugh. He is survived by three sons: Larry Pugh (Carol) of Bartow, FL, Terry Pugh (Linda) of Northeast, MD, Gary Pugh (Linda) of Elkton, MD, and a brother Gilbert Pugh of Deland, FL. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, September 21st from 10AM to 11AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel.
