Robert Lee Mitchell

Plant City - Robert L. Mitchell, age 72, passed away November 28, 2020 at his home in Plant City. He was born on March 24, 1948 in Bartow, FL. He was a retired Mechanic. He had a love for family time, fishing, horses, and storytelling. One of the most important things to him was his family. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Gail Mitchell, children Julia Mitchell, Audrey Scarborough, Marjorie Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, his wife Amy, Leigh Mitchell, brother Roy Mitchell, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and also an extended family. Family will receive friends on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm at Whidden- McLean Funeral Home Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home chapel.
