Robert Eugene Crews, Sr.

Robert Eugene Crews, Sr. age 78, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Lakeland. Born August 6, 1938 in Ona, FL, he was the son of the late Charles and Inez (Roberts) Crews. Gene was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He retired from I.M.C. Agrico after 30 years of faithful service. Mr. Crews is survived by his wife Wilma Jean Crews of Mulberry, two sons: Robert and Duane Crews of Georgia, two daughters: Tammy Woods of Lake Hamilton, Debbie Peavey of Lake Buffum, four adopted children: Tracie Crews, Kevin Crews, Jason Crews, Erica Crews, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
