Robert C. Brown

Robert C. "Bob" Brown 82 of Bartow passed away March 27, 2010 at his residence. A native of Indiana he moved to Bartow from Lakeland in 2000. He retired from General Motors Aircraft Engine Manufacturing Division with 41 years of service as a Aircraft Assembly Inspector. He was also a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Bartow and Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus #12314 Council. Bob was also a Navy Veteran of WWII and enjoyed bowling and golfing. Bob was preceded in death by a son Philip C. Brown and is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Sue Brown of Bartow; three daughters Mari Wisniewski and husband Steve of West Newton, IN; Rebecca Anne Brown of West Newton, IN; Barbara Helen Harlamert and husband Dave of Boggstown, IN; two sons Matthew Robert Brown and wife Cindy of Indianapolis, IN; Joseph Edward Brown and wife Pam of Flora, IN; sister Betty Jo Heubi of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers Bill Brown of Hagerstown, IN; Donald Brown and wife Mary Ann of Naples, FL; James Brown of Indianapolis, IN also twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. a Memorial Mass was held Tuesday March 30, 2010 at 9am at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Bartow.
