Robert E. Brock

Robert E. "Bob" Brock, age 77, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Bartow Center in Bartow. Born December 18, 1938 in Bartow, Mr. Brock was a resident of Bartow since 2015, moving from Alabama. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a Texas State Trooper for many years. He is survived by a son: Chris Brock [Patty], Corpus Christi, TX; a daughter: Teresa Cates, Harvest, AL; a brother: Jeff Brock [Elaine], Lakeland, FL; two sisters: Virginia Schuck [Bob], TX & Nancy Pierson, Lakeland; a niece: Becky Cockroft (Tom), Highland City and several other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.
