Winter Haven - Robert "Bob" Seligman, Jr., age 71, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born December 10, 1952 in Bath, NY to Robert Sr. & Mary Seligman. Bob’s career spanned 42 years in the phosphate industry. Starting at Custom Chemicals, then at ArrMaz (now Arkema), he served as Plant Manager for two decades before moving into Supply Chain Management. Farming was in Bob's blood, and he had a passion for gardening and agriculture throughout his entire life. He also greatly enjoyed motorcycling and rode many trips around the country with friends. Bob was of Christian faith and was preceded in death by his wife Victoria Lynn Seligman. Bob is survived by his son Matthew Seligman of Lakeland, FL; his first wife and mother of his son Sherree Ebersole; two sisters Barbara DeSalvo & husband Rick of Bath, NY and Karen O'Neil & husband Dennis of Littleton, CO; two brothers Kenneth Seligman of Penfield, NY and William "Bill" Seligman & wife Betty of Jupiter, FL; three grandchildren—Logan Seligman & wife Shivani of Norfolk, VA, Hanna Clark & husband Kellen of Plant City, FL, Cailin Andrews & husband Zach of Tampa, FL; two great-grandchildren Lucas and Levi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Memorial service will be held at 11:00am and lunch reception will follow.
