Robert "Bob" J. Mcduffie

Robert "Bob" J. McDuffie, 87, Went home to his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, December 31, 2022. He was born November 16, 1935 in Bartow, FL to John & Lessie McDuffie. Bob served in the United States Air Force. He was a Civil Engineer for the Department of Transportation with the State of Florida and retired after 33 years. Bob also owned and operated Bob's Citgo in Fort Meade for many years. After retirement he worked part time with McLean Funeral Home for over 20 years. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God and the Fort Meade Worship Center. Bob & his wife Shirley loved to spend time at their second home in Sylva, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Shirley McDuffie. sisters Vivian Albritton, Ila Wiggins, Lillian Bryant, Myrtle Griffin, Dorothy Radford, Winnie Griner and two brothers Clarence McDuffie and John McDuffie. He is survived by his sons Robert L McDuffie, Allen McDuffie and Bryon McDuffie, daughter Debra McDuffie all of Fort Meade. Grandchildren, Sheryl McDuffie, Michelle Newman, Brent McDuffie, Little Shirley McDuffie, Krystal Brown, Renee' Cooley-Sims and Lindsey Hahn, great grandchildren, Robert John, Jaden, Taylor, Nathan, Aaliyah, Garrett, Alexis, Kaylee, Riley, Braden, Peyton, Abel, Rylee, Tyler, Reese, Liam and Kayden, great great grandchildren, Tana, Lailynn, Rhaelynn, Taytum, Lilly Grace, Robert and Kason. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 5, 2023 at McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023 at Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S Seminole Avenue in Fort Meade. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL with military honors.
