Robert (“Bob”) James Howarth, Sr. 72 joined his Heavenly Father and his loving wife, Denise, who preceded him in death on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 after a courageous cancer battle. Mr. Howarth is survived by his two sons: Robert (“Robby”) James Howarth, Jr. (Bridgette) and Cory Michael Howarth (Candice) both of Oxford, 5 grandchildren, a sister, Jeanne of Woodbridge VA, and 3 brothers, Edward (“Butch”), Jack, and Donald all of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Painesville, Ohio to the late Edward Marsden & Sylvia Helena Kjellman Howarth. He grew up in Taneytown, MD where he graduated from Taneytown High school in 1967. Mr. Howarth is a veteran of the Vietnam War. For his service, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He served honorably in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician Radar Petty Officer 3rd Class. He was also a proud member of VFW POST 8163 in Clarksville, Virginia. Mr. Howarth retired as Production Manager from the Manufactured Home Industry, a career that took him and his family on many travels in the United States. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
