Lake Wales - Rita C. Lopez, age 83, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa of a stoke. Born May 22, 1929 in San Antonio, TX, Mrs. Lopez was a resident of Lake Wales for 20 yrs, moving from Alturas. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her husband: Ysidoro Lopez & a son Ysidoro Lopez Jr. She is survived by two daughters: Inez Fernandes of Eloise, FL & Rita Benavides of Zellwood, FL; three sons: Juan Gutierrez of Lake Wales; Ysabel Lopez, Orlando, FL
& Felix Zamora, Lake County, FL; 23 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren &
1 great great grandchild. Family will receive friends Friday, April 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville.
