Richard L. Rayburn

Bartow - Richard L. Rayburn, age 64, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Lakeland Hospice House. Born February 1, 1954 in Troy, MI, Mr. Rayburn was a resident of Bartow since 1973, moving from Michigan. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Masonic Tuscan Lodge #6, Bartow. He was an Automotive Service Advisor with several local General Motors & Ford dealerships in Polk County for many years. Mr. Rayburn is preceded in death by his mother: Jane Salmon Rayburn. He was survived by his wife of 39 years, Myra E. Rayburn and a son: Daniel Rayburn, both of Bartow; his father: Gene Rayburn (Anabel) of Paris, TN; two brothers: Larry Rayburn, of Puryer, TN and Dan Rayburn, (Kathy) of Camden, TN. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
