Richard W. Price, 81, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Bartow Center of renal failure. Born November 03, 1930 in Detroit, MI, Mr. Price was a resident of Bartow since 1997 , moving from Michigan. He was a retail clerk for Farmer Jacks Supermarket for several years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Bartow. He was preceded in death by his his first wife: Joan Price; a son: Rick Price & two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife: Mickey Price; son: David Price & wife Katrina of Mesa, AZ, three daughters: Theresa Krajnak & husband Mike of Armada, MI; Nancy Price of Bullhead City, AZ; Judy Read & husband Tracy of Plant City; two brothers: Ralph Price & wife Janyce of Bartow; Nelson Price & wife Irene of Lake Hatchineha; sister: Virginia "Jennie" Price of Tampa; 6 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
