Richard "Pops" Pokorowski

On Sunday, February 5th, 2023, Richard “Pops” Pokorowski joined his beloved sweetheart, Frances Alvey in Heaven. He tried to get there for her birthday on the 1st, but he was late, a rarity. From being a US Navy Sailor, home and abroad, to traveling the United States as a truck driver, whether from the stern of a ship, or behind the wheel, he loved to visit and see new things. He lived in multiple states before landing here in Central Florida. Many will know and remember Pops as the smiling, happy guy, riding his blue scooter, walking his best friend; his four-legged baby, Princess. They shared 12 amazing years, side by side. Richard is preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Frances. He is survived by his sisters, Penny, Laurie, and Becky; His children, Roger, Patti, (Hank), Kathy, Lynn, Cyndi, and Richard (Meriah), his grandchildren, Amy Lynn (Charles), Gary, Tony, Sean, Evan, Ricky, Terri (Nick), Kristi (Caleb), David, Timmie, Josh, Anthony, Adisyn, Justice, Tristin, and Stormie. Also 13 great grandchildren, and his best friend, “Princess”.
