Richard A. Corley

Richard A. "Pinetree" Corley, age 56, passed away early Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Winter Haven. Born September 1, 1959 in Winter Haven he was a lifelong area resident. Pinetree was a long distance truck driver and had most recently was working for GRS Logistics and Warehousing in Auburndale. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Corley is preceded in death by his father, Burell E. Corley, Sr. in 2013. He is survived by a loving family that includes his mother Betty Corley, his siblings: Rev. Ed Corley (Kathy), Timmy Corley (Jenny), Brian Corley (Debi), Debra Corley, Brenda Corley, and his son Chad Whittington. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to a charity of one's choice.
