Ricardo "Ricky" Castillo

Winter Haven - Ricardo Castillo ,affectionately known as "Ricky", passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2016 in Winter Haven at the age of 47, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 11, 1969 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ricky loved his family more than anything else, and his favorite pastimes were always surrounded by family. He lived a full life. He was always supportive of his wife Oralia, as she battles cancer and proved to be a loving and gentle caretaker through her chemotherapy treatments. Spending time with his four children and grandchildren was always his favorite. His friends and family knew him for his big smile and contagious laughter. He was the life of the party. His family takes comfort that he is resting in the arms of God and is surrounded by loved ones who have gone on before. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Oralia Castillo; his children, Rolando, Rogelio, Reyna and Ricardo Jr; three grandchildren, Eli, Raelynn and Joseph; his mother, Cruz Castillo and his siblings, Rosa, Amado, Silvestre, Juan, Diana, Aurora, Gilbert, Javier and many other family members. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 11:00 am at McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof, FL.
