Rhoda Mae Whitten

Bartow - Rhoda Mae Whitten, age 100, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was born May 13, 1925 in Severn, MD to Lewis & Ethel Kelly. Rhoda was a Accounting Specialist for the Polk County School Board. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Rhoda was very active in the community, she was a member of Friends of the Library, Bartow Crickette Club, Bartow Garden Club, Golden Age Club, Pilot Club and she volunteered at Bartow Chamber of Commerce (an original member of the Diplomats). She is survived by her three daughters Janice Mann of Bartow, Joyce Trupiano of Lake Wales and Jean Whitten of Tallahassee, eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
