Rev. Clyde Nichols

Rev. Clyde G. Nichols, age 79, of Bartow, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at a family residence in Winter Haven. Born August 23, 1928 in Richland, FL, Rev Nichols has been a resident of Bartow 35 years, moving from Live Oak, Rev. Nichols was a pastor for the Assemblies of God for over 50 years, serving churches in Lee, Live Oak and since 1972, in Bartow at the Victory Tabernacle. He is preceded in death by his wife Lavada Nichols. He is survived by his son: Gerald Nichols of Murphy, NC; daughter: Naomi Horn of Winter Haven; 3 brothers: Clifton Nichols of Deltona; Clinton Nichols & Leon Nichols, both of Ocala. 6 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 10-11 am at Victory Life & Praise, 520 W. Hooker St, Bartow. Services will follow at 11:00 am at the church.
