Rev. Carroll L. Rhoden

Rev. Carroll L. Rhoden, Sr. 94, a native of Fort Meade, FL. He lived his life in the service of the Lord, was called home Sunday, August 28, 2011. Carroll was a Baptist Minister as well as a Citrus Owner. He is survived by so many family members & friends who's lives he touched. His wife Louise Rhoden, his son C.L. Rhoden, Jr. of Fort Meade. C.L.'s daughter Deloris Peavy and her family, C.L.'s son Edward Rhoden, Carroll's departed son Ralph his daughters Karen Langlais & Lisa Rhoden and their families. Three Daughters; Linda Faino, Glenda Butler, and Kathy Tennyson and their families. Four Sisters; Ilena Dawes, Zara Fowler both of Fort Meade, Frances Anderson of Lake Wales and Ruby Lemcke of Ocala. Brother; Richard Rhoden of Fort Meade and all their families, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and families of his departed brothers & sisters. We will miss him, but we can take comfort knowing he will be watching over us. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2011. Funeral service will be at Lake Buffum Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 2, 2011, Rev. Bill Ivey and Rev. Terry L. Coe officiating. Interment will be at Lake Buffum Cemetery, Lake Buffum, FL.
