Renee Rothrock

Renee Rothrock, age 83, passed away January 10, 2023, in Lakeland. Born February 22, 1939, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Eades) Beckett. Renee worked in the banking industry for many years as Branch Manager for Community National Bank in Bartow. She was also a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Bartow, a member of the Zonta Club in Bartow, Downtown Bartow, Inc., and Stargator Camping Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George O. Rothrock, and her siblings, Sandy Ledford and Butch Beckett. Renee is survived by a loving family that includes her children, Karen Starling (James), and Gary Rothrock (Shawn) all of Bartow. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ryan Starling, Kaylie Starling, Kassidee Waltz (Trevor), and Lyssa Stone (Jamie), and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, from 5pm to 7pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
