Reba Smith Hughes

Mrs. Reba Smith Hughes, age 82, of Winter Haven, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in Tampa, FL. Mrs. Hughes was born August 25, 1926 in Arcadia, FL. She was a Administrative Assistant for the Polk County School System. Mrs. Hughes was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Bartow. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Medford Hughes and two children Robert M. Hughes, Jr. and Joy Evelyn Hughes. She is survived by her Daughter, Janet Hughes Adams and her husband Danny of Lakeland. One Sister Jeanelle Tetreault of Winter Haven. Sister in law, Opal and Joe Morrell of Auburndale. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, Fla., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 . Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, Fla.
