Raymurl Y. Hielscher

Mrs. Raymurl Y. Hielscher, age 77, passed away from respiratory failure July 26, 2011. Born October 22, 1933 in Baker, FL, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Flora Lee (Peacock) Young. Mrs. Hielscher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alturas. She was a longtime secretary for Alturas Elementary School. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother GlynnYoung. She is survived by a loving family, that includes her husband, of 60 years, Carl W. Hielscher of Alturas. daughters; Vicki Rainey (Terry) of Greenville, SC, Leanne Mitchell (Doug) of State Road, NC, son Kevin Hielscher of Alturas, brothers; Leland Young of Alturas, Allen Young of Alturas, James Young of Eufaula, AL, sisters; Evelyn Hielscher of Alturas, Flora Graddy Conley of Kite, GA, and Doniece Young Bennett of Bartow. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Patrick, Katiey, Miranda, Abby, Wesley, Chris, Joey, Justin, Jack, Blake, Jarod, and great grandchildren; Gabe, Eli, and Eden. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where the family will receive friends Thursday, July 28th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will follow Friday, July 29th at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of Alturas, 7690 Poinsettia Ave. in Alturas.
