Raymond A. Mcleod

Raymond A. McLeod, age 66, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his residence in Bartow of multiple myeloma. Born November 27, 1948 in Danville, VA, to Wallace Raymond and Virgina Simmons McLeod, Mr. McLeod was a resident of Bartow since 1970, moving from Charleston, S.C. He was owner and operator of Mid Florida Marine in Bartow for over twenty years. He was formerly with Agrico Chemical and IMC Phosphate for 20 years. Mr. McLeod is survived by his loving wife: Jeanne McLeod, Bartow; two daughters: Lindsay McLeod and Heather Russell both of Bartow; first wife: Gale Messenger, Bartow; two step sons: Derek Harpe (Stacie), Fort Meade and Drew Harpe (Angela), Roswell, GA; granddaughters: Karson Russell and Addyson McLeod; sister - Elise Stuntebeck (Tom), Mount Pleasant, SC. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Bartow
