Raymond Michael Dukes

February 21, 1968 — April 7, 2018

Fort Meade, FL - Raymond Michael Dukes age 50, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. Michael "Tiny", "Big Mike" or "House" to his friends, was the fourth of six children born to Ralph and Pat Dukes on February 21, 1968 in Winter Haven, FL. Though he was not affiliated with a church congregation he was a very benevolent, kind-hearted, meek, and wise Christian who loved Jesus, who only lived to be kind to others. He was also a Mason at the Fort Meade Lodge. He was the joy and the soul of his family's life, friend to so many, and kind to EVERYONE! He was a highly sought after Finish Dozer and Finish Grader Operator who for many years enjoyed traveling the country in that career. He was the dearest son a mother could pray for, the best brother siblings could dream of, the uncle which legends are built around, and the most loyal friend one could hope for. Mike was preceded in death by his greatest love and life partner, Valerie Riddle and his father, Ralph A. Dukes. He is survived by his mother; Patricia Dukes, his brother James Keith Dukes, his sisters; Kay (Randall) Albritton, Beth (Tim) Mincey, Michelle (Ron)Taylor, Brenda (Terry) Thomas, Lesse Tucker, Dale (Becky) Reynolds, and 6 nieces, 13 nephews, 6 great nieces, and 10 great nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018, at 3:00 PM at McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade. Condolences to family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
