Ray W. Lowers

Ray W. Lowers, age 53, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale from complications of pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by family and close friends. Born March 10, 1959 in Bartow, Mr. Lowers was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Building Inspector for Polk County over 10 years. He was survived by his wife Terri Lowers of 31 years & daughter Lindsay Lowers, both of Lakeland; father & mother: Charles & Rena Lowers of Bartow; sister: Lauren Emerson & husband Steve of Brooksville; nephew Cory Emerson of Gainesville; In-laws Gene and Jeannie Austin of Bartow: brother-law Wes Austin of Lafaytte,LA. A memorial service will be held Thursday , September 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 355 S. Florida Avenue, Bartow.
