Raquel Perez, age 64, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home in Bartow. Born March 14, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of Manuel Perez and Celia Perez Castro. Raquel was a Catholic and had previously worked for A.A. Flanders in Bartow. She is survived by her children: Cesar Cedeno, Arnold Silva (Rosa), Norma Adkison, Blanca Osorio (Eduardo), her siblings: Salvador Gomez, Juan Gomez, Max Gomez, Jesus Gomez, Maria Gomez, Isidra Gomez, Patricia Phillips, Estella Chavez, Ofelia Medina, Christina Gomez, and Sol Gomez. She also leaves behind her five grandchildren: Marcus, Mathew, Martin, Eduardo, and Adiel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9th from 4pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow Monday, July 10th at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
