Ralph Glenn Mills

Ralph Glenn Mills, age 77, went to be with his Lord & Savior Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 3, 1946, in Lake Wales, FL to Kos & Jewell Mills. Ralph served in the United States Marine Corps. where he received two purple hearts. He retired after 30 years serving as a Postman for the US Postal Service. He served many years as a deacon and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bartow. He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the American Postal Workers Union and the local Union Chapter. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers. Ralph is survived by his wife of 50 years Darlene Rogers Mills of Bartow, son Ralph "Chip" Mills, Jr. & wife Jennifer, daughter Laura Simpson & husband Ben, three grandchildren Morgan, Jordan and Caitlin, two brothers Tommy Mills & wife Wreatha and Carroll Mills. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will be 9:00 am Friday, December 1, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 410 E Church St in Bartow, FL.
