Rachel Dunn Siler

Fort Meade - Rachel Siler, 89, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was born March 19, 1928 in Chatham County, NC. Mrs. Siler was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She worked as a Inspector for several different Canning companies. She then volunteered for over 20 years at the Bartow Hospital serving others. She was preceded in death by her son; Winfred "Winkie" Siler, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 72 years Winfred "Wink" Siler, Sr. of Fort Meade. Grandsons; Jeffery Siler & wife Jenifer and Thomas Siler & wife Kimberly both of Fort Meade. Five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, 307 East Broadway in Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
