Pye Carr

Bartow - Pye Carr, age 76, passed on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his residence in Bartow. Born November 18, 1943 in Barber County, AL to King and Elease Carr. Mr. Carr was a resident of Bartow for sixty-one (61) years, moving from Alabama. He was a Supervisor with Prime Equipment Company for thirty (30) years and he was U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by a loving family including his wife of twenty-five (25) years, Mary Lou Carr, a daughter, Tammy Sutton (Jamey) of Bartow; a son, Travis Carr (Regina) of Bartow, a step daughter, Christie Boyer Hildreth (Chas) of Winter Haven, a step son, Brian W. Smith of Winter Haven, 2 sisters: Mary Jo Garrett, Troy, Alabama, and Carolyn Dixon, Bartow, nine (9) grandchildren and two (2) great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held Friday (July 31, 2020) @ 10:30 A.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida (masks are required).
