Primitivo Arteaga

Primitivo Arteaga, age 96, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He was born June 10, 1926 in Edinburg, TX to Jesus & Ernestina Arteaga. He worked in the produce industry and sold produce at local farm markets. He was of the Catholic faith. Primitivo was preceded in death by his wife Santos Rodriguez Arteaga. He is survived by his sons Primitivo Arteaga, Jr. & wife Blanca of Bartow, Adolfo Arteaga & wife Veronica of Mulberry, Jesse" Arteaga of Bartow, daughters Ana Delgado & husband Enrique of Bartow, Santos Alvarado & husband Jose of Auburndale, brother Juan Arteaga, sisters Lily Perez and Consuelo Ochoa. Grandchildren Mary Soto, Jose Alvarado, Jr., Juan Alvarado, Jesus Alvarado, Primitivo Arteaga, III, Sonia Carbajal, Jose Angel Arteaga, Rosenda Melchor, Lorena Evelyn Arteaga, Zuriel Adolfo Arteaga, Itzel Elena Morris, Uzuel Paul Arteaga, Azziel Tivo Arteaga, Javier Delgado, Joel Delgado and 26 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, August 22, 2022, at The Mission of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2150 Bomber Road in Wahneta, FL. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
