Mrs. Phyllis Voigt Albritton, age 67, passed away at her home from respiratory failure Thursday, September 16, 2010. Born November 6, 1942 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of the late Carldon and Guynelle Voigt. Mrs. Albritton was a homemaker and a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bartow. She is preceded in death by her grandson Caleb Ray Smothers, and her granddaughter Brittany Michelle Black. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 47 years, Nick Albritton of Alturas, two daughters; Christena Black (Bryan) of Clermont, Sabrena Smothers (Bobby) of Lakeland, her brother Louis Voigt of Alturas, and her sister Evelyn Voigt of Brandon. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Abigail Black, Madeline Black, Nicole Smothers, Savannah Smothers, Aubrey Smothers, Nathan Smothers. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow where the family will receive friends Sunday, September 19th from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral services will follow Monday September 20th at 11:00am at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bartow, 205 East Stanford in Bartow.
