Phillip Larry Wolfe, of Jasper, Georgia, born on July 17, 1977 in Lakeland, Florida, was called home by our loving Father on September 18, 2023. Though his 46 years felt too brief, Phillip’s impact upon us is immeasurable. As our Maker who crafted all things, Phillip enjoyed woodworking that reflected his dedication and skill. Phillip found solace in the Scripture and frequently surrounded himself in God’s handiwork at a beloved stream in North Georgia, accompanied only by his loyal dog, Kaleo, and a sleeping bag. Phillip possessed an unwavering kindness---always ready to extend help to those in need. His legacy is one of craftsmanship, faith, love, and boundless compassion. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Carole, and his brothers, David and Allen, his nieces and many friends who will forever cherish their memories with him, until, we also are gathered unto our people (Ge. 25:8) and to Christ, to whom we commit our spirits (Luke 23:46). The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E Main Street in Bartow, FL 33830. A memorial service to celebrate Phillip's life will follow at 11:00 am Saturday at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. (The graveside service will be limited to the family.)
