Phillip L. Smith

Bowling Green- Phillip L. Smith, age 70, passed away on March 1, 2021 at his home in Bowling Green. Born September 2, 1950 in Wauchula, he was the son of the late Malcom and Patty (Arlington) Smith. Mr. Smith was of the Pentecostal faith and a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a Supervisor after forty years of service with Mosaic. Phillip is survived by his wife of 29 years, Loretta Smith of Bowling Green, his son Brent Smith, his step daughters: Christy Cheshire and Teresa Cunningham. He also leaves behind his siblings: Melissa Stanford and Dr. Wilson Smith along with nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A private family service will be held at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade.
