Peris Louise Hardy

Mrs. Persis Marks Hardy, age 93, of Bartow, Fla., died Sunday, January 7, 2007, at her residence in Bartow, from natural causes. Mrs. Hardy work as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Polk General Hospital in Bartow. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Bartow. Mrs. Hardy is preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Hardy, Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Caroline Hardy Bridenbaugh and Edna Hardy both of Bartow, Naomi Hardy Warren of Titusville, Fla., two sons, Robert Alvin Hardy, Jr. of Port Charlotte, and Mr. Richard Caleb Hardy of Lakeland. She is also survived by two sisters, Rhoda Doskocz of Orlando, Phoebe Rogers of Monticello, and her brother, Caleb Marks of Melbourne, 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, Fla., where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10 AM Thurs., Jan. 11, 2007.
