Percy Duke

Mr. Percy T. Duke, Jr., passed away Sat. , March 10, 2007 at Bartow Regional Medical Center from heart failure. He was 65. Born, April 10, 1941 in Bartow, Mr. Duke was a lifelong resident of Bartow. He just recently retired from Hunt Bros. in Lake Wales where he worked as a receiving clerk. He also attended Lake Garfield Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 40 years; Jeannette Duke, a stepson; Robert Weeks of Lakeland; three daughters; Lorena Duke of El Paso, TX, Mary Frances Lynch of Milton, FL, and Regena O'Neil of Lakeland. he also leaves behind a brother; Arlen Wayne Duke of Bartow, eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wed., March 14, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow. Services for Mr. Duke will be held Thurs. March 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel
