Peggy Sue Hunt 78 of Fort Meade passed away Friday, March. 15, 2013 at the Bartow Center from respiratory failure. Born in Caruthersville, MO on Feb. 22, 1935, she moved to the area 45 years ago. Peggy was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Hunt and sister Linda Harrison. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Crockett of Opelika, AL and Peggy Sue Gilmore of Aurbundale, FL, Two sons, Alan "Spanky" Gilmore of Fort Meade, FL and Michael Jason Hunt of Tallahassee, FL, Two sisters, Carol Gorum of Fort Meade, FL and Barbara Onley of Caruthersville, MO, Fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March. 19th from 10-11am at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade with funeral services starting at 11am. Peggy will be laid to rest beside her husband Ralph in Homeland Cemetery afterwards, where they will be together again. Condolences may be made to the family at www.mcleanfuneralhome.net
