Pearl Margaret Wogan

Pearl Margaret (Allen) Wogan, age 96, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, surrounded by her family. Pearl was a vibrant ray of God’s love to all. She enjoyed life’s little pleasures, her family, and most importantly, God. Pearl was born in Middleport, Ohio on July 14th, 1925, and eventually moved to Columbus, Ohio where she raised her 3 children. Pearl and her husband Pete moved to the Sunshine State of Florida where she enjoyed attending the Fort Meade First Baptist Church, singing in the choir, Joy Club, Awana, being a caregiver, volunteering at the Historical Society of Fort Meade, teaching line dancing, bowling, playing darts, shooting pool, and the occasional Bingo Night. She will be forever missed by her family. Preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle (Ferguson) Carpenter; father, James Allen; son, Michael Earl Wogan; sisters, Alva Stotler and Gladys Bush Pearl is survived by her husband of 79 years, Delmar “Pete” Wogan, her two daughters Doris Lynn Burgess, Patrica Smith ( Wayne ) and loving brother James Allen; seven grandchildren: Shawn Barnhart (Emily), Andreas Burgess, Justin Burgess, Curtis Burgess (Andrea), Brandon Wogan (Tanya), Steffen Wogan (Linda), Shannon Burke (Pete); thirteen great-grandchildren: Jaeden Barnhart, Jacob Burgess, Westin Burgess, Sophie Burgess, Charlie Burgess, Gwynn Burgess, Faith Wogan, Jacob Wogan, Colin Wogan, Angel Burke, Delaney Burke, Peter Burke IV, Jameson Burke. Family will receive friends on Friday April 22, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM with a service immediately following at Fort Meade First Baptist Church, 307 E Broadway St, Fort Meade, FL.
