Pauline Whitaker

Pauline Whitaker, age 80, passed away September 7, 2023, in Lakeland. Born September 12, 1942, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hughy Hagley and Ilene (Hall) Hinds. Mrs. Whitaker worked as a Cashier at Publix in Bartow for many years. She was a Christian. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, E. Wayne Whitaker, her son, C. Wayne Whitaker, her son in law Christopher M. Greer and her sister Barbara Osthoff. She is survived by her daughters: Darlene Greer of Brandon, Renee Stiles (Carl) of Bartow, her grandchildren Nikki Quevedo (Jose), Amber Stiles (Christian Zuniga), Hailey Burgos (Ellis), Grace Greer, Devin Stiles, and her great grandchildren: Matteo, George and Isla. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
