Pauline G. Devitt

Pauline G. Devitt, 78, of Lakeland, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow of heart failure. Born October 6, 1930 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Mrs. Devitt has been a resident of Lakeland since 1994, moving from Bellevue, Nebraska. She was an US Air Force veteran. She was of the Episcopal faith. She is survived by her husband: Allen H. Devitt, Jr of Lakeland; two sons: Allen Devitt, III and wife Carol of Des Moines, IA; Andrew Devitt and wife Suni of Denver, CO; daughter: Susan Howard of Bellvue, NE; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 2, 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Bellvue, NB. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
