Paula B. Adams

Paula B. Adams, 67, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Bartow Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Born March 18, 1943 in Painesville, OH, Mrs. Adams was a longtime resident of Bartow. She was a secretary for the Juvenile Division of the Polk County Clerks Office. She was a member of Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her son: Paul Gregory Thompson. She is survived by her husband of forty years: Fred J. Adams of Bartow; two sons: Tim J. Adams & wife Jessica of Highland City; Kevin M. Adams & wife Christy of Mulberry; two daughters: Patricia A. "Patti" Wilkins & husband Dale of Bartow; Dawn M. Creech & husband Mike of Bartow; two brothers: Joe Bennington of Tampa & Paul "Sonny" Bennington, Jr. of Boiling Springs, S.C.; 14 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 1, 2010, 6-8 pm at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church, 1125 S. Hwy. 17, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2 pm at the Church.
