Fort Meade - Paul Wayne Matthews, age 77, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. He was born July 9, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Norman & Frances Matthews. Paul was a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Leta Skipper Matthews. Paul is survived by his daughter Angie Ivey & husband Sydney of Parrish, son Bobby Matthews & wife Amber of Fort Meade, sister Darla Townsend & husband David of Fort Meade, five grandchildren Trevor Ivey & wife Lydia, Bryson Ivey, Hunter Bourn & wife Morgan, Brooke Boyd & husband Max and Colten Bourn. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church, 6210 Mt Pisgah Road in Fort Meade, FL. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Mt Pisgah Baptist Church or National Kidney Foundation.
