Paul B. Huff, Jr.

Valrico -Paul B. Huff, Jr. , age 83, passed away on August 7, 2024, at Brandon Regional Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1941, in New Orleans, LA. Paul was a loving, generous and giving person. As a veteran of the Vietnam War, he was very patriotic and loved God and his country. He was a member of The VFW and American Vets. He was the owner of Huff & Huff Rose Company. Family was a priority and of upmost importance to Paul. He cherished the time spent with them all. His ultimate wish was to see his kids and grandkids happy, healthy and thriving. During his life, Paul enjoyed fishing, snow skiing, sailing, traveling and the outdoors. He was very involved with his Summerlin High School class of ’59 reunions and gatherings. The Price family in New Orleans was near and dear to his heart. His Southwest points helped him visit as often as possible. He enjoyed spending time with his neighbors in Valrico and his driveway happy hours. He was known to enjoy a Cubalibre or two now and then. He left us unexpectedly and we will all miss him tremendously. He is survived by his sons Christopher Huff of Clearwater & Michael Huff (Nicole) of Seattle, daughter Melissa Huff of Tampa, sisters Bettie Ann Huff Hough (Wade) of Jacksonville, Suzanne Huff Fisher (Scott) of Jacksonville, & Diane McFarlin (Bill) of Gainesville, granddaughters Sasha Huff, Zoe Hivert-Huff & Kristen Burns (Derek) and great grandchildren Bailey, Madison, & Colt. Memorial Service will be held on Monday August 12th, at 2PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. The interment will be held at FL National Cemetery.
