Paul J. Fournier, Sr.

Paul J. Fournier, Sr., 91, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Lakeland. Born April 25, 1927 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late J. Howard and Margaret "Peg" Fournier. Mr. Fournier was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He worked as the Vice President of Witt Plastics, Inc. in Lakeland for many years. Mr. Fournier was a member of Saint John Neumann Catholic Church in Lakeland. He also served as Past Chairman of the Florida Plastics Council, Past President of the Florida Society of Plastics Engineers and formerly served on the Board of the Directors of the Society of Plastic Industry as well as the Board of Plastics Engineering for the University of Florida. Mr. Fournier is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ann B. Fournier of Bartow, his children: Paul J. Fournier, Jr. of Coral Springs, Pete Fournier (Eliwd) of Plantation and Joni F. Martin (Tom) of Lakeland. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Lesley Dale Greenfield, Clark Dale (DeAnna) John Paul Fournier and his great grandchildren: Elle Greenfield, Clark Greenfield and Cohen Dale. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, November 16th at 10:30am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 501 East Carter Road in Lakeland.
