Patsy Matilda Smith Atwell

Patsy Matilda Smith Atwell, 81, of Fort Meade, FL passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 from complications of a stroke at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Patsy was born March 12, 1933 in Homeland, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist of Fort Meade. She retired as Assistant Vice President after 35 years with Suntrust Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Herman Atwell, parents Clarence & Anna Lee Smith, sisters Clarice Tyre & Peggy Davis and brothers Reuben Smith & Jack Smith. Patsy is survived by her sister Linda Carroll of Fort Meade. Many nieces & nephews. Family will recieve friends from 10 to 11 am on Monday, May 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, 307 E. Broadway East Broadway. The Service will follow at 11:00am on May 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Meade with Kenny Slay officiating.
