Patricia A. Minor

Mrs. Patricia Ann Minor, age 67, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 in Bartow. Born June 26, 1944 in Harrison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Milfred James and Gladys (Roever) Taylor. Mrs. Minor was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center in Bartow. She most recently worked as a School Crossing Guard for the Polk County Sheriff's Office, a job she enjoyed greatly performing at her post. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of God. Mrs. Minor was preceded in death by her husband Harry Minor and a son Matthew Minor. She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Todd Minor and wife Julie of Bartow, her three daughters; Cindy Brennan and husband Floyd of Fort Meade, Ruth Oxendine of Mulberry, Jae Adams and husband Donald of Bartow her two brothers; Ron Taylor of Rotonda, FL, Randy Taylor of Sevierville, TN, and her sister Pamela Carter of Englewood, FL. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Minor will be held Saturday, September 17th at the Word of Life Christian Center in Bartow at 11:00AM.
