Pamela “Pam” Ann McIntosh of Bartow passed away on March 1, 2018. She was born in Bartow on September 14, 1954 and was a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her father and mother James M. and Joann Shelton formerly of Winter Haven. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David McIntosh of Bartow, her brother-in-law and his family Gary McIntosh (wife Deena and daughter, Morgan) of Illinois, 3 brothers: Jim Shelton (Margaret) of Lakeland, Wayne Shelton (Terri) of Bartow, David Shelton (Sharon) of Wisconsin, nieces and nephew: Lorraine Carroll (Steve) of Homeland, Cynthia Deines (Troy) of Winter Haven, Wayne Shelton Jr. (Michelle) of Bartow and lots of other nieces and nephews and great and grands. Pam was a legal secretary. She had passed the law officer’s training standards requirement course. She worked for the Polk County Sheriff’s Department in Crime Scene Investigations and volunteered for Search and Recovery. She also worked for Lake Wales P.D. and Winter Haven P.D. She loved animals of every kind and all her family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, March 9, 2018 from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
