Pad M. Cook

Mr. Pad M. Cook passed away from cancer Thursday, August 30, 2007 at his home in Bartow. He was 59. Born April 2, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Cook, Sr. and Hazel Cook. Mr. Cook was self employed and worked as a carpenter and an investor. Mr. Cook had just recently moved to Bartow from Lakeland, where he had been a resident since 1975. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Cook, a son, Joseph Martin Cook also of Bartow, his mother, Hazel Cook of Jackson, GA, sister Judith Ann Brown also of Jackson, two brothers; Charles Henry Cook of Woodstock, GA, and Joseph F. Cook, Jr. of Westminster, SC. Services for Mr. Cook will be Friday, September 7, 2007 at 4:00 PM at The Stanford Inn, 555 East Stanford Street, Bartow. A Reception will immediately follow the service.
