Opal R. Bryan

Opal Rowland Bryan, age 85, passed away from renal failure Friday, June 8, 2012 in Bartow. Born on August 5, 1926 in Denton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Willie H. and Minnie Rowland. Mrs. Bryan was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow. She also volunteered with the hospital auxiliary in Bartow for over 25 years. Mrs. Bryan is preceded in death by her husband, Don Bryan. She is survived by a loving family that includes her three children; Philip Bryan, James Bryan and wife Lyn, and Julie Bryan all of Bartow, along with her three grandchildren; Leigh Ann Bryan, Lesley Rae Green and husband Logan, and Stephen Bryan. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 12th from 6PM to 8PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow Wednesday, June 13th at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church of Bartow, 410 East Church Street in Bartow.
