Norma Grunholzer Jones

Norma Gunholzer Jones, age 101, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025. She was born May 13, 1924 in Fort Meade, FL to John & Jewel Pauline Grunholzer. Norma graduated from Fort Meade High School in 1942. She was a Citrus Owner & Homemaker. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, where she played the piano for many years. She was an excellent seamstress & loved to cook. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Dorman Jones, daughter Paula Kay Winston and sister Virginia Gillispie. She is survived by her son Kenneth Jones & wife Diana Lyn of Lakeland, daughter Marianne Barwick of Fort Meade, sister Marian Clyatt, six grandchildren Chris Jones & wife Whitney, Allyson Jones, Cindy Mitchell, John Barwick & wife Andi, Justin Harris & wife Lindsay and Jennifer Doig & Chris and eleven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:00 am to11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 307 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Friday, July 18, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
