Nola Ellison

October 8, 1935 — April 24, 2024

Mulberry - Nola Ellison, age 88, passed away April 24, 2024, at Lakeland Hospice House. She was born October 8,1935, in Noble County, Ohio to the late John & Beulah (Lowe) Pryor. She worked in Clerical for CSX and was proud to follow in her father’s footsteps as a railroad employee. She was a member of the NRA and Polk County Sheriff's Association and was a certified firearms instructor. Throughout her life she enjoyed gospel music, going to the beach and her work. Nola was at one time an avid square dancer. She moved her family to Florida in 1972 and she loved tanning and worked in several tanning salons around the city. She was preceded in death by her son Jeff Kimbrell (Pam) (2018) and brothers Myron Pryor & Quaye Pryor. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Dempsey Simpson of Mulberry, daughters Robin Wiggs (Matt Huffman) Arvada, Colorado, Renee' Boyett (Steve) of Attapulgus, Georgia and her brother Terry Pryor of Caldwell, Ohio, 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren who loved her and will miss her dearly.
